BabyMonitor for Windows Mobile
Categories: Personal Assistance
BabyMonitor for Windows Mobile is a software, which allows you to use your smartphone like a baby monitor. This way, you’ll be able to hear the noise made by your little child, when he or she wakes up.

BabyMonitor comes with noise suppression technology, that ignores environmental sounds and focuses on the noises made by the baby. This software also silences the phone’s ringer, in order to avoid waking the baby up when you get a phone call. Once the child makes a sound, the handset will call a preset number and tell the parents that he’s awake.
Key features:
- No need to have any special devices
- Unlimited radius of action
- Radio noise insensibility
Requirements:
- Windows Mobile 5.0 and later

how does this work? Usualy baby phone consists of 2 devices that are both on at the same time, does this require to have 2 phones that have this babyphone program instaled on?

I’m guessing that it works like I’ve seen other similar devices work. It waits until it hears a loud enough noise and then calls any number you want and then you’ll hear what it’s hearing. So, yes, you’d need two phones but just set the number to your partner’s number or whoever you’re out with. And yes, it’ll cost you a phone call but most people have lots of free minutes these days and at £15 it’s going to be a *lot* cheaper than any alternatives you could find including a standard baby monitor which wouldn’t have the range.
It looks absolutely brilliant. I’ve got my Omnia arriving next week and this will be an early install definitely.
Genius.
