Caxixi (pronounced ca-shi-shi) is an application written for Samsung Windows Mobile phones such as the Omnia. It plays the sounds of a variety of percussion instruments. The sounds are triggered by shaking the phone using a variety of gestures. But Caxixi is more than just a solo instrument. It also includes a studio, which you can use to arrange backing tracks, record your playing, and mix them together into your own songs. The studio enables you to save recordings and send them to others, and even export them as WAV files to use for ringtones.
The Caxixi application is named after the African percussion instrument made of a woven basket filled with dried seeds or small pebbles, and closed with a drum head. Brazilian natives believe the Caxixi can be used to summon good spirits and ward off evil ones.

Isn’t this meant to be a .cab file cos after extracting with winrar its just a bunch of files, no .exe or anything

original file on samsung’s website is cab file so, you just send it to your phone and install it. and that is it

i have downloaded the cab file and copied it to my omnia but when i installed it, the installation is unsuccessful.

I got this app like a month ago, but it’s the beta version. Can someone tell me if this is beta or full? Also when you install the .CAB file of this game, you will be promped to install the Samsung SDK program. They are both in one .CAB file.
For users who installed and it won’t work, uninstall and re-install it. Should work then.

Hey, I just installed caxixi. The problem is that the net compact framework wasn’t installed or something like that cause they say that this app requires a newer version of the microsoft net compact framework than the version installed on this device! HELP, what should I do??????? I removed and uninstall the programs and reinstall it a gazillion time but its the same message again and again. Please help me!!!

all i get is a cixixi animation, and when you shake the phone it makes one sound. It can be only tourned off by taking out the battery.

Hey people i wanted to ask if any one could help me a bit out. First of all when i start installing it after the first installation comes another one and at one point it stops dead and says its wasn’t successful.How can i fix that? And the other problem was that at one point it told me that my microsoft net packet wasn’t up to date, but when i tried updating it it couldn’t make the connection. Is there anyway i can install Caxixi or is it just a big waste of time. Thanks to anyone who reads this and helps me out.
