We refuse to stand idle and deal with outdated technologies, but instead have embarked on improving current ones or to simply just create ones to enable the next generation to do what they want and how they want to do it.

December 16th, 2008 at 6:09 am
…the video just screws up in landscape.
December 16th, 2008 at 5:07 pm
I think the player was built to use in vertical (normal) screen mode. I’ve used it in landscape mode once, and the result is as you said…

December 25th, 2008 at 5:58 am
in order to fix the bug in landscape mode go to
menu > tools > preferences > select page > video and put video output to Intel Xscale.
That’ll put the landscape correctly

.rar files are like .zip files.
They have to be extracted first.
You’ll need a program like 7zip

I am curious as to why anyone would rate this app 5 out of 5 for omnia when you cant actually watch videos in landscape mode. This means you have to tilt your head to watch anything. I’m sorry but that renders the app 100% useless to Omnia users. Yet it WAS rated 5 out of 5, that doesn’t make sense at all.
February 11th, 2009 at 2:50 am
tap on the video screen while it’s playing, it’ll swap to landscape mode automatically
February 15th, 2009 at 1:50 am
This is not a free download or able to get a free trial?

SOLUTION TO LANDSCAPE ISSUES!
1 - Fixing the rendering issue:
- Go to Menu > Tools > Preferences then tap Select Page (left soft button)
- Tap ‘Video’ and set the Video output option to Intel XScale
2 - Fixing the rotation wierdness
- Go to Menu > Options > Orientation
- Select ‘Follow Gui’ under Fullscreen
- Repeat and set to ‘Follow GUI’ under Skin
3 - Finger friendly skin
- Go here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=426457
- Download the skin.cps and copy it to your device overwriting the standard one (back that up first if you want)

WOW. I have a Linksys WIreless webcam that publishes an ASF stream. I couldn’t find ANY player that would allow me to view the stream from that webcam, not on windows XP or Vista. I just downloaded and installed coreplayer and now I can view the webcam stream ON MY FREAKING Omnia SGH-910 Verizon PHONE!!!!!! This is fantastic! I love it. Well worth the small contribution! Hey look! My 11 year old son just came home from school and walked into our kitchen….and I saw it happen on my phone!!! Awsome.

This is definitely the best media player for the Omnia so far. Ive pretty much downloaded them all. Played everything I could throw at it. I have alot of Avi files and this plays them really well. I also play alot of music and opening files/folders/playlists was easy. Alot of great options. I also assigned a button to blank the screen to save power whilst playing music. Definitely a 5 star application!!!
Although Youtube works I dont use this App for youtube videos as Ive downloaded the youtube app which plays videos at much higher quality and I found easier to use
June 15th, 2009 at 6:05 am

August 14th, 2009 at 11:08 pm
It would be best that you download and install YouTube app from YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/yt_mobile_app
You have to do it from your phone.
And for those who don’t know how to install applications on WM
You DON’T install .xml files or any other files except .cab (from your phone)
or.exe (from your comp while your phone is connected through ActiveSync(XP)
or Windows Mobile Device Center(Vista)
