    where is the keygen

I can get the early version to work like a breeze with this Keygan but not 5.0. Where is ADMIN

  82. Gareth Says:

Can someone Post the map of china

  83. Putu Says:

Is there anyone have map of Indonesia??
    thx b4

  84. Bill Says:

Here is how I got it to work…

Follow the instructions in the keygen.
When it comes up and tries to connect to the Garmin GPS, cancel that, cause it won’t find it. Go to Tools, Settings, About and get the device id. Put that into the keygen to get a key made. You then need to create a new file in notepad, paste that info into the file.

Vista users!!! Click “save as” and change the filetype from .txt to all files, this will remove the extension!! Save as SW.UNL
Then just copy the SW file into into the Garmin folder. This will solve your problems!!

Now if I could only figure out how to get detailed maps…

  85. Scarfo Says:

BILL! What version Garmin are you using though? I am able to do the same process on 4.something but not on 5.0 it will start up and freeze the whole phone, sometimes it makes it all the way to accept/license screen and then nada(BRICK). I have had to of soft recet my phone several times. I have gotten keygans from two different sources, The one says UNLOCKS ALL has to Keygens but it also has a batch file and a .exe file , That may have come from this site. For the ealier version I actually did not use a new notebook page but the coded one that was with the Keygen, which is why I am asking about the batch file and .exe its gotta do something but lousy directions, He left off the whole part about cracking maps.

  86. Scarfo Says:

Bill just Fyi my vista has been changing it to a .unl while I leave it .txt unless its just a hidden attribute, I will try it that way

  87. Bill Says:

I used the latest version, downloaded from Garmin. The attribute is hidden. If you look in the properties of the file, it will show whether or not it is saved as a .txt file. I did use the keygen from here.

I am still working on cracking the map situation. I figure somebody has cracked it, I just hope they documented it.

If you are bricking, you might try to uninstall and reinstall to the phone?
    Good Luck!

  88. Scarfo Says:

Bill, These are the directions i have for the maps.

Instructions to generate map unlock code for Garmin device:
    ———————————————————-

    1. Launch the keygen and enter your 10# GPS Unit ID (GMXT Card ID, Unlock ESN or GMPC Device ID).

    2. Select desired Map product and hit the corresponding Generate button to generate Map unlock key.

NOTE: If your map is not included in the Map product list, select , enter the corresponding MapID and hit OK.
If you are not sure about your MapID, install it first into the MapSource, open regedit and browse for
    one of the following keys:

    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Garmin\Mapsource\Families\]

    or

    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Garmin\Mapsource\Product\]

and check the “ID” REG_BINARY. That is your MapID (in HEX). You have to convert it
from HEX to decimal (do not forget to reverse the byte order when coverting)

    3. Hit Generate button to generate map unlock key.

    4. Copy (CTRL+C) your generated map unlock key to the clipboard.

    5. Open the Notepad again and paste (CTRL+V) the key and save the file as GMAPSUPP.UNL

    6. Put your newly created file to your SD Card\Garmin directory and restart GMXT.

This keygen is also compatible with Garmin MapSource application. You can use it to generate map unlock keys
for any Garmin GPS device and any map using Garmin IMG format.

    !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
DISCLAIMER: This keygen was created strictly for education and testing purposes. I have no (and never had)
intention to harm Garmin business in any way by leaking this keygen to public. Please do not
distribute it! If you like Garmin mapping products, I strongly encourage you to buy the
original map license directly from Garmin or one of its affiliates.
    !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Special thanks goes to starix and Lord Yuz, who helped me with translation and reversing.

  89. Bill Says:

Thank you for the update!!! All I have to do now is find some maps to download…

Did you ever get yours to stop bricking?

  90. Bill Says:

I have the freebase map loaded, and it is working, but if I want to navigate to a certain address, it says to install detailed maps. I have the mapsource program installed and running, but it only seems to have a basemap as well, not detailed… The search goes on,…

I REALLY need a GPS… I have no sense of direction.. and I dont want to spend 100 or 200 or more dollars for a good GPS. My phone is all I need. \

  93. AGMR Says:

Also, I live in the US

  94. Bill Says:

AGMR, did you install the new update for your phone from Verizon? Until you do that, your GPS will still be locked. You can find it on verizons website (/data), it has very detailed instructions, and is simple to do. After that, you should be able to find satelites…

  95. Arkist Says:

I have the verizon omnia i910 with the latest rom (CF03). The GPS works with google maps, but with this app it sits at searching for satellite. Any ideas?

  96. yylee Says:

Do u have may of malaysia (including east malaysia)??

I would go into the GPS settings, and set them to COM8, that seems to be the setting needed to make the GPS work on these.

Scarfo-I am not sure where you live, but I had luck searching torrents for maps. Found an excellent 2010 North America map. Might try that!

  98. yylee Says:

Do u have map of malaysia (east and west malaysia). i found others but did not work … help ~~

    HELP ME SOMEBODY
i installed it and it comes up but it can never connect gps EVER do u have to actually have a garmin gps to use this or is there something else i need to do PLEASE HELP :!:

  103. MechAniX Says:

    -tbreez7
If you have a phone with internal gps, you may need a program like GpsGate in order to create a virtual port. Some programs dont like the COM 8 port that is set on the Omnia. GpsGate will create a virtual port and forward it to COM 8.

  104. code600 Says:

Ok when you first install Garmin on your phone and you fail to follow instructions and not do the keygen right you will only be allowed to use 1 satellite the Garmin one and it will not work thats why it keeps searching for satellite and bluethooth forever it will not find it. You need activate it to be a ble to use other satellites found in settings.

  107. code600 Says:

After you download any one of these maps you need to make a unlock code for the map to with the keygen that you downloaded in with garmin its the second part you just choose like North america maps 2009 or just click custom and enter the map id that comes with the maps. Paste the activation code in a clean notepad and rename it to the same file name as the map files name except change the last extensions to .unl and paste it to your garmin folder and walla free maps.

I saw this in a other comment on the SPB weather. It turned out to be the best app ever. It stops your omnia from constantly string to connect to the internet. I have mine on the 38.00 unlimited text and talk so I only want to use my WIFI. This is the best, Please pass this on. It was the final program that made my omnia PERFECT!!!!

I have the 2010 maps I just dont know how to upload them. 1,152,704kb is the file size 1.2gb I have them running on my NUVI but didnt have much luck on my omnia.

*************READ THIS IF YOU ARE HAVING PROBLEMS****************

The main problem I use to have was saving the UNLOCK file with a UNL extension. This is very simple to do….. When you save the UNL file you have to put quotes around it EXAMPLE “GMAPSUPP.UNL” leave out the quotes and it will save as GMAPSUPP.UNL.TXT The quotes make all the difference.

    Hello Everyone,
Newbie sped here, I have spent a week trying to get the detailed maps to work. I tried to put the rar file in the garmin folder in my omnia, then I figured out it had to be the actual img file in the garmin folder along with the unl file. For the life of me, I can’t get the img files transferrred to my omnia after I unzip the file. It won’t let me copy and past on my laptop and when I try to unzip them directly into the garmin folder I come up with an error message everytime. I even tried downloading the rar files directly nto my omnia’s garmin folder but the files say they are too large when I try to unzip them. Will someone please help this pathetic phone owner with some specific steps?

    Hi all !
I bought a second hand Omnia during my holidays in Thailand. The guys in the shop installed me the GarminXT software …together with the Thai maps. When I saw that I went back to ask them to install the European maps. After that, when already back in Belgium, I saw in a folder that I have the following:
    - Thai Route Base Map
    - Detailed maps - of Thailand
    - Detailed maps - City Navigator Europe NT v9
With that configuration I can see the map of where I am (Brussels), but if I try to enter a destination, then writing help suggests me Thai cities. When I write it myself (e.g. Brussels) it says it didn’t find it.
I guess the problem is that I have the detailed maps but I lack the Europe Base map or someting like that.
Could anyone of you help me on that issue ? I’d appreciate very much ! :???:

Just got it all working.. I had no connection at all at first, but I found a solution:

“From the Main Screen click Tools, then Settings, then System, then Remote GPS. On that screen hit Disable at the bottom right corner. You’ll then get 3 choices: Use Bluetooth GPS, Use GPS Intermediate Driver, and Use Serial GPS. Set it to Use Serial GPS and when the options come up under it pick COM8: COM8: and then hit Enable at the bottom right. It will now use the internal GPS =)”

I picked COM9, as I didn’t have a COM8. It was the right, working one.

    Great thing. :D

After 2 days of trying to discover how this thing works I finally had it running. It’s awesome!

I have Samsung Omnia i900 and a Just Mobile Bluetooth GPS receiver.

First I downloaded Garmin Mobile XT for Windows Mobile software version 5.00.20w at www8.garmin.com download page.

Then I downloaded Garmin Mobile XT Free Base Maps_4xxxx and Garmin Mobile Support Files_4xxxx

I also downloaded Garmin City Navigator (your Map of choice) e.g. UK, Middle East, Canada. Try to search for it in yahoo or google.

I formatted my storage drive (2 gb)
Connected my Omnia to my pc through Windows Mobile Device Center
Unzipped or Unrar all downloads I had into separate folders, on the desktop
Opened Garmin Mobile XT folder (the one I unrared) and clicked Setup
If your device is connected through Windows Mobile Device Center, installation will start, follow instructions, and select your storage device on the drop down menu. After finishing it will ask you to connect to a GPS device but I disconnected by device, and connected again, and did the same thing on the base maps and support files.

Open Garmin Mobile XT on your device, go to Tools –> Settings –> About and get the device id. Enter that device ID into the keygen (included in the download you found during your search) to get a key. Copy the key, open notepad and paste it there. Save your notepad as SW.UNL file under ALL FILES and not .TXT files. Save it to a folder and into your documents of on the desktop. Open the folder and change the folder view so you can see the file details. The saved SW.UNL file should have an icon like a blank document and not like a notepad. The file should show UNL file. Copy that file and paste it to your Garmin folder in the storage card of your device. Now, when you open Garmin Mobile XT on the device, with your bluetooth GPS receiver on and connected, the device would say COnnect to a Garmin GPS but wont be able to connect so wait for it to ask you to connect to another GPS device instead. It should be able to connect after a few minutes after you place your GPS device outside and able to have a fixed satellite connection. It should say CONNECTING TO A GPS DEVICE, and then SEARCHING FOR SATELLITES.

As for the maps, after downloading your city navigator maps (UK, US, CAnada), extract it to another folder, open the folder and click setup (with your device connected to your PC). follow onscreen instructions and after finishing it will as you to unlock map details (some uses the same keygen to unlock map details. u have to enter your ID # again to generate a key for the maps you selected from the dropdown menu). My mapsource was version 5 and it is only version 4 on the keygen so I used a software to unlock all maps. Once map details are unlocked you can launch the mapsource to send map details to your device (follow flash presentation on how to save and send map details to your device, usually included in the city navigator download). All set and ready?

Open now Garmin Mobile XT and connect it to your bluetooth device. You should be able to start navigating in a few seconds. Since your base maps might be on another place (mine is UK), you should click on Where Am I found in settings and save that as ur current location.

It took me an hour to remember everything I did to be able to post it here. I hope everything is fine. Have fun everyone!!! and dont get lost! ;-)
