This thing does wrok pretty well. But I must say it doesn t fully work on the registration code, It restarts every few minutes and you get a nice ” trial wallpaper” in all the phonex aplication. Kinda sux

the only problem i have is that it doesnt recognize the secret codes anymore
for example in the old pad when i typed *#0002*28346# it would get me to a volume control app, but now it doesnt

I notice a small prob on the dialer…it does not tell you if the other is busy talking or not. is there a fix for this?

yes it replaces the old pad, if you want to revert to the old one, you have to uninstall this
oh and again the trial wallpaper even though it shows its registered -_-

it shows the trial wallpaper whenever you make a big change i think. a restart of the phone fixes it. remember guys, this is a hacked version someone put together, so there is bound to be errors.
if you go to the site for the program, they offer several ways to get a legit version and license for free if you’re up to it. Or get someone to buy it for you like I am.

run extraction file on your computer, copy the PhEx_14 folder to your omnia then run the .cab file.

If you want to use the default keypad, exit the program. To use again, launch it from the programs folder.

go google v1.3. There are many fully registered versions floating around and there is no trial version wallpaper. Looks and feel identical to version 1.4.

If you mean the link, well, it works on my side. And the app is perfect. After register with the instructions in the torrent, i haven’t seen any sign of the trialware text, and it has been running now for a few day. The about screen even says “License: Registered”. Will let you know when i get to the 15 day end trial date. So far so good.

ATTENTION! (lol)
To QUIT completely out of program until reboot, you simply have to go to keypad and then the quit button and PRESS AND HOLD it for a few seconds.
You’ll get a popup message asking you if you are sure you want to quit. Hit yes, and your default keypad will be accessible again!

Anyone else have problems with the incall volume adjustment on the i910? Doesn’t seem to work for me even though the display says its increasing or lowering volume.

When receiving a call is there anyway to change or disable the picture of the forest? I found forest.jpg but even if I rename or delete it, the forest still shows up.
I don’t have pictures to assign to every single contact…

Open Contacts->Submenu->Filter->Submenu->Category->Photo. Below in this item you can assign an image which will be used as background.
The /Iconsoft/PhonEx/Media folder contains a library of images that you can use as the call background.
Do it in that order mate and your sorted

Hi guys,
This app is really cool, no lag, slide really smoothly… largely better than the default one.
However I have a small bug, when I receive a call the incomming message of the default omnia software appeared in front of the incomming screen of PhoneEx… Is someone know how to fix this bug?

Problem fixed! It was just during the first call… Now it works well exept the trial wall paper which appear sometimes but a reboot fix it.

This app is great! But I ran into the 15 day trial period thing… actually ran out of my 15 days is more like it. I used the link that jasskata posted… like I said, it worked great. But now I need to register to get it to work agian. Someone once posted that it could be ANY email with ANY 10 digit code… that don’t work. Any other ideas??

Ok, just to clarify, you DO NOT have to uninstall PhonEx to revert to the old dial pad. On the bottom right of the dialpad, theres an icon called Phonepad. Once you open that, you should see an icon on the top left called WM phone. simply tap ‘WM phone’ and voila, you have your old dialpad back. However, the next time you open up your dialpad, it reverts back to your PhonEx one.

Hi,so I just received my Omnia 7 handset, but nothing’s working? I can’t even download Zume on my notebook, yet the supposed download used up all my bandwith? Any help please!
