PocketComic Comic Reader for Windows Mobile
Categories: Image & Camera Applications
Pocket Comic is a program for Windows Mobile devices that allows you to read comics or graphic novels on your PDA or phone. It also has the ability to convert and view PowerPoint slide decks in the CBZ file format suitable for viewing with PocketComic.

PocketComic looks good on normal devices and fantastic on VGA devices (640×480 or higher resolutions). For some great public domain comics try visiting:

The latest version includes both the mobile device software and the Windows PowerPoint converter tool to create or convert your comics. Only the .cbz file format is supported so you will need to convert you .cbr files before transferring them to your device. This can be done easily wityh free tools such as 7Zip.
Both file formats are simple archives with a .cbz extension if it is a zip file and a .cbr extension if it is a rar file. To convert a .cbr to a.cbz simply extract the .cbr with 7Zip and then recompress it as a zip file. Then rename the .zip to .cbz. You can now copy this to your PocketPC or SmartPhone to view the comic (click on the images to enlarge):
The controls are very simple. From the menu you can activate full screen mode and also choose between actual size, fit width, fit height or fit screen sizes. To navigate through the comic you use the up and down keys on your phone/PDA to move forwards and backwards and the left and right keys control the zoom level. If the page is bigger than the screen you can simply drag the page around the screen using you finger or stylus. Finally, you can jump to specific pages from the Jump To menu option.

the fact that it is posted here would remain a good chance that the software works- I run an omnia sch-i910 with official rom update- unless I didn’t completely understand how to work an app and personally did not like it- or would have no interest in the app at all- they all work- wish i would have came here before buying the apps I did….someone no where to find Copilot Live 8

That “first” thing only shows who’s the biggest loser here, who sits in front of his pc all day so he can be the first one to see new release and say “first”. The fact that you are first only shows that you had nothing else to do in your life, that you were in front of your monitor waiting (really pathetic) and that you have nothing fun going on so that’s the fun highlight of your day. This is adressed to all of you waiting anxiously to say “first!”

Or MAYBE, I coded an app that makes a window pop up via the site’s RSS when I happen to be on my computer. So I decide to comment, just to piss people off.

You weren’t person no.1 in my mind when I said that cause you don’t say it every time, but happened that i wrote this on release where you were the “guilty ” one
